    The is a great venue to explore Olympic history and experience a handful of Olympic sports yourself, including the Comet Bobsled. A professional pilot (often a former Olympian) will guide you and two other passengers down the 2002 Olympic track at speed in excess of 80 MPH. For those not looking for a downhill thrill, take some time to peruse the Alf Engen Ski and the 2002 Olympic Winter Games museums. Entry is free.


    Newpark Resort is adjacent to an ecologically important nature preserve spanning more than 1,200 acres. An abundance of wildlife migrates through or seeks refuge in these protected wetlands. Guests can arrange for guided snowshoe hikes or nature walks through the wetlands. With so many trails, it can be difficult to know which hikes are suited for you, so be sure to ask us. Newpark also boasts one of the key connections to the beautiful Park City area trail system that winds around history and beauty, on which you can walk, hike, bike, Nordic ski or snowshoe.


    No visit to Park City is complete without a stroll on the historic of Park City. Enveloped in old mining architecture and history, this quaint street is lined with charming restaurants, boutiques, galleries and the Park City museum. Stroll through the Park Silly Market on Sundays during the summer to get your fix of local artisan fare, unique food and art vendors, all while providing free live music entertainment. Alternatively, visit the famous Sundance marquee at the Egyptian Theater.


    Accessible form the Newpark Trail, the mountain bike trail is an IMBA designated "Epic Ride" and a trail that all seasoned bikers should experience once in their life. Park City local mountain bikers love the steady climbs and fast-flowing 5 mile descent through forested single track. Post-ride, come back to Newpark Resort and saddle up at Maxwell’s East Coast Eatery for a celebratory beer and slice.
