Create Special Memories with a Thanksgiving Staycation in Park City

Park City Main Street

This year, treat the family to a non-traditional holiday staycation at the Newpark Resort Hotel. Park City offers many holiday-themed happenings, and below are only a few of the city’s activities and festivities occurring over Thanksgiving weekend.

On Friday, scope out the art scene during the Last Friday Gallery Stroll from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM, featuring refreshments, art events, and exhibits. Or, catch an 8:00 PM performance of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ at The Ziegfeld Theater. See www.theziegfeldtheater.com for more information.

November 26 is Small Business Saturday, and we urge our guests to visit and shop with local merchants. Then, join us at Historic Park City for our annual Winter Electric Parade from 4:00 PM-6:30 PM. Carolers will be singing, and Santa will be strolling the streets before the parade leaves the park for Main Street at 6:00 PM, where the illumination of the Main Street Lights and the Town Christmas Tree will officially kick off the holiday season.
