Spring Break in Park City is for Everyone

As the days grow longer in March, Park City transforms into a springtime playground for first-timers and veteran visitors alike. Whether you’re seeking the pinnacle of luxury, a romantic getaway, or a family-friendly adventure, winter’s favorite town is brimming with experiences to satisfy every desire and budget.

The Return of Red, White & Snow

Ready to blend your passion for skiing, fine dining and wine tasting? Red, White & Snow is an annual premier wine, culinary, and ski event that takes place in Park City this year March 7-9, 2024.

The headliner for the event is The Gala, held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, which is the premier fundraising event of the weekend, benefiting the National Ability Center. It includes a silent auction and cocktail reception, followed by a four-course seated meal paired with wines, a live presentation, and an after-party. For wine lovers, Vintner Dinners brings together Utah’s top chefs and the nation’s finest vintners for a memorable dining experience.

Finally, Uncorked is an exclusive wine and culinary experience that kicks off the weekend. It features tastings of over 30 vintners’ cherished wines, spirits, and hors d’oeuvres, accompanied by live music. Note: There is also a VIP hour available for those seeking a more intimate experience with the vintners.

Romance Meets Adventure

Park City is also the perfect backdrop for both adventure and romance. The afternoon sun and snowboarding or skiing at Park City Mountain Resort or Deer Valley Resort is matched only by the vibrant après-ski scene, where bars and lounges like O’Shucks Bar & Grill or OP Rockwell offer a cozy spot to recount the day’s exploits. Looking for a dose of culture? The Utah Olympic Park and the historic Main Street, with its galleries and boutiques, offer a glimpse into the local arts scene. And for an experience that’s both exhilarating and unique, don’t skip Woodward Park City’s innovative sports facilities.

Leave Your Car Behind

You don’t need a car to get around Park City. Interested in skiing or sightseeing? Take advantage of the city’s comprehensive and fare-free public transportation system. Park City Transit offers a variety of bus routes that connect different parts of the city, including access to local ski resorts.

To reach Park City Mountain Resort quickly, visitors can take the White 10 bus route, which offers a frequent service running every 10 minutes. For those heading to Deer Valley, multiple bus lines are available: the Yellow 5, Green 2, or Red 1. These routes can be boarded from key locations such as the Park City Mountain Resort or the Old Town Transit Center. Additionally, the Trolley service offers a charming way to explore Main Street and its surroundings. For real-time bus tracking and trip planning, visitors can download the MyStop mobile app, which provides live updates on bus locations and schedules.

Family Fun in the Great Outdoors

Families will find no shortage of activities to enjoy together. Deer Valley caters to guests of all ages with tailored activities and services for children. The whole family can enjoy the thrill of snow tubing or the adventure of a guided snowmobiling tour through the pristine backcountry. Or, for a more tranquil experience, horse-drawn sleigh rides and snowshoeing offer a magical way to explore the scenic beauty of one of the most beautiful locations in the world. And for those moments when the bigger “kids” need to burn off some energy, Park City Peaks Snowmobiling is the perfect solution.
